![Worst mass shooting in Canadian history: 16 DEAD, including one officer [updated]](https://therightscoop.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/gabriel-wortman-.jpeg)
Well this is terrible news. There has been a mass shooting in Canada, and some are reporting at least 10 deaths. Update: It is at least 16 deaths, making it the worst attack in Canadian history. From Fox News:
A man disguised as a police officer went on a shooting rampage in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia on Sunday, killing 16 people, in the deadliest such attack in the country’s history. Officials said the suspected shooter was also dead.
A police officer was among those killed. Several bodies were found inside and outside one home in the small, rural town of Portapique, about 60 miles (100 kilometers) north of Halifax — what police called the first scene. Bodies were also found at other locations.
RCMP spokesman Daniel Brien confirmed that 16 people had been killed in addition to the suspect. The dead officer was identified as Constable Heidi Stevenson, a mother of two and a 23-year veteran of the force. Another officer was also injured.
Brien said he could not rule out that the death toll could still rise. Already, it is one of the worst shootings in Canadian history.
[End Update.]

This is still new, so it may be that the information changes, but I’ll update with new information so keep checking back on this story.
From what I’m seeing, the man stole a cop car and pretended to be an officer on his killing spree. One police officer is dead. Earlier reports said Wortman was shot and killed by police, but later reports say he was apprehended. Terrible.
Gabriel Wortman, suspect in active shooter investigation, is now in custody. More information will be released when available. Thank you for your cooperation and support. #Colchester

#Colchester: Gabriel Wortman may be driving what appears to be an RCMP vehicle & may be wearing an RCMP uniform. There’s 1 difference btwn his car and our RCMP vehicles: the car #. The suspect’s car is 28B11, behind rear passenger window. If you see 28B11 call 911 immediately. pic.twitter.com/yyeOeBt8Ui

This is where the man hunt is ended at the Enfield Big Stop around 11:15 am as RCMP say they took Gabriel Wortman into custody. It was a sad scene as one man was laying dead near a gas pump. pic.twitter.com/xgZUVff6Sy

Very weird.
Some more details:
My mom’s nextdoor neighbor showed up at their door an hour ago.. told them his cousin and spouse were murdered
Omg 😪 they have left behind 3 children
They resided in the Portapique area..— Debra (@DA2221) April 19, 2020
Seeing that #RCMP arrested the #Portapique shooting suspect at a truck stop in Enfield.
This means Wortman travelled almost 100 km across the province before his arrest, and was less than 30 minutes away from reaching Halifax. pic.twitter.com/6Al8mwX4bf
