Watch: Romney Uses MSNBC & CNN To Continue To Meddle In Impeachment Trial

by Paul Goldberg

Last week we reported that Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) was starting to throw a wrench in the impeachment process when it came to John Bolton testifying in the upcoming Senate impeachment trial. Last week Romney said, “I would like to be able to hear from John Bolton. What the process is to make that happen, I don’t have an answer for you.”

Well, this week Romney is back and is continuing to meddle in the impeachment trial, he wants to hear from former National Security Advisor John Bolton. While speaking to MSNBC Romney said, “I support the Clinton impeachment model, which is a vote on witnesses later. But as to which witnesses I’d want to hear from, and so forth, that’s something which I’m open to until after the opening arguments.”

He concluded saying, that Bolton is “someone who I would like to hear from, and presumably, I’d get the chance to vote for that.”

Senator Romney can say what he wants about supporting the Majority Leader but, he went on CNN and MSNBC to let them know he wants Bolton to testify.

Romney did not appear on Fox News I’m sure because he did not want to take questions asking if he would support Hunter Biden or the former Vice President Joe Biden testifying as well. Despite being AWOL on Fox News he was torched by Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

Ingraham said, “I have no words for Mitt Romney. I supported him in 2012. I like Mitt Romney. I have no words for him. Just none.”

Gregg Jarrett said, “Romney belongs to the Romney party.”

“What is this?!” Ingraham asked. “What’s in the water in Utah?”

Ingraham asked her panel if this was concern for other Republicans in the Senate and after their discussion said, “If they could put aside their dislike for some of what the president says or does for the Constitution and what’s good for the country, they’d get thumbs up from me and a lot of other people.”

You can watch the discussion below comments about Romney start at the 14:45 mark.
