James Carville said it best: “It’s the economy, stupid.”
And right now, President Trump is absolutely killing it.
It is now being revealed that 45’s approval rating on the economy just hit an all-time high, per CNN polling.
“This is the highest number we’ve ever seen in CNN Polling.”
And boom goes the dynamite.
It would seem as though Trump is looking more and more likely to win re-election come 2020, especially when you consider Democrats aren’t thrilled with any of their candidates.
Speaking of ratings, CNN isn’t doing so well.
In fact, the far-left network just suffered terrible ratings – plummeting to a new yearly low.
Too bad, huh?
From Daily Caller:
CNN had its lowest primetime weekly ratings overall and in the key age demographic last week, according to Nielsen Media Research.
From April 8-12, the network only averaged an audience of 690,000 people and 180,000 in the key 25-54 age demographic. Their coverage last week included three presidential town halls with New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro.

According to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), the “GOP attitude disrespects workers, dishonors our values and damages our economy.”
Here’s her statement:
San Francisco – Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued this statement after the Department of Labor issued its January jobs statement, which does not include the Trump Shutdown’s impact on the 800,000 federal workers who were furloughed or forced to work without pay for 35 days:
“The January jobs report holds some encouraging news, but it belies the lasting financial damage that the Trump Shutdown has inflicted on hundreds of thousands of Americans across the nation. Federal workers, many of them veterans, saw their financial security shaken, their credit ratings harmed, and their lives upended by the longest shutdown in history. And now, with families still hurting, President Trump refuses to take a second senseless shutdown off the table.
“Meanwhile, House Republicans overwhelmingly voted against a pay raise for federal civilian workers, refusing to respect the perseverance and patriotism of the men and women who were just furloughed or forced to work without pay. This consistently callous GOP attitude disrespects workers, dishonors our values and damages our economy.
“House Democrats are working For The People, moving forward with our bold agenda to lower health costs, raise workers’ wages, and restore integrity to government. We must keep government open, and keep working to deliver an economy that works for every American, not just the wealthy and well-connected few.”
