WSB-TV reports Police say a 17-year-old shot and killed one of three armed robbers who broke into a home in Cobb County Monday night.

Police said three people with guns tried to break into and rob a home on Olive Springs Road around 9 p.m.

Machavellia Bagsby, 21, was shot and killed by a 17-year-old juvenile who lived at the home. Bagsby died at the scene.

Taruss Miller, 21, was shot in the leg. It’s unclear who fired that shot. A third person, a 16-year-old, was found later.

Miller and the 16-year-old juvenile have been charged with murder, aggravated assault, attempted armed robbery, burglary, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Police blocked off part of a Cobb County neighborhood for hours as officers investigated a deadly shooting.
