President Trump made a move that will surely have those on the left who get angry at everything he does see red one more time.
Trump just picked conservative talk show legend and a member of the Radio Hall of Fame Michael Savage for a board position in San Francisco.
Trump chose Michael Savage, his real name is Michael A. Weiner and his son just sold Rockstar Energy Company and became a billionaire, to serve on the board of the Presidio Trust.
The Preside Trust works with the National Park Service to manage the Presidio of San Francisco, a former military fort near the Golden Gate Bridge.
I am sure Nancy Pelosi will be furious with the decision as Savage is a fierce critic of the Dem machine in California.
For Savage, whose Savage Nation is on 200 stations and a giant podcast, the appointment was recognition for his environmental work and support for the military.
He said that Trump was aware of his background and “asked if I would like to serve on The Presidio Trust. I hope to help save this great legacy while also reminding the public of the military significance of this land,” he told Secrets.
His appointment comes just weeks after Trump gave fellow conservative radio big Rush Limbaugh the Medal of Freedom during the last State of the Union Address.
Savage is known nationally for his conservative talk show and his motto, “borders, language, culture.”
But he also has his doctorate in ethnobotanical research from the University of California. The United Nations has recognized his research, he has written on Native American trial folk medicine and created a famous master plan for greening America in 1975 that had people calling him the “Johnny Appleseed” of his generation.
Today, President Donald J. Trump announced his intent to appoint the following individuals to key positions in his Administration:
Michael B. Stoker, of California, to be the Federal Representative on the Western Interstate Nuclear Board.
Alexei Woltornist, of New Jersey, to be an Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security (Public Affairs).
Michael A. Weiner, Ph.D., of California, to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Presidio Trust for a term expiring May 4, 2023.
