These Four Words Obama Officials Said Are About To Haunt Them

Newly declassified documents have shown that high-level Obama administration officials not only were involved in entrapping Retired General Mike Flynn but also saw no evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.

However, what those officials said on TV was a very different story, especially Obama’s National Intelligence Director James Clapper. Multiple times Clapper went on CNN claiming Trump was “aiding and abetting” Russia’s attempt to interfere in the 2016 election.

Newly declassed sworn testimony from Clapper tells a different tale, he said that he “never saw any direct empirical evidence.”

That’s not to say that there weren’t concerns about the evidence we were seeing, anecdotal evidence …[redacted],” Clapper continued.

Then he uttered these four words that are going to haunt him, “I do not recall” an instance of evidence that the Trump campaign was holding meetings with the Russians.

It wasn’t just Clapper, Obama’s UN Ambassador Samantha Powers also utter those same words, “I don’t recall intelligence that I would consider evidence to that effect that I saw … conspiracy prior to my departure.”

So if Powers and Clapper “did not recall” seeing any evidence why did the Obama Administration continually unmask General Flynn? And why did they continually appear on news networks saying the contrary?

Those words are going to come back and bite these Obama officials because the dates of the unmasking correlate with leaks to the press. These officials that testified in classified hearings all admitted there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, they never considered these transcripts would be released to the public. After the hearings all of them ran to CNN and MSNBC saying the exact opposite, now they will be (hopefully) held accountable by the Senate.

During one of these classified hearings, Clapper was asked by a Republican congressman is it was reasonable to assume the meeting implied collusion and Clapper backtracked.

“I really can’t answer it other than the sort of visceral reaction to why all these meetings with the Russians,” he said. He acknowledged according to National Review that it was not abnormal for incoming administrations to meet with foreign representatives before assuming office, but said: “I think there is a line … between that and violating the principle that in this country we traditionally have one president and one administration at a time.”

These guys are caught red-handed and now it’s time to pay the piper.
