POLL: Democrats far more likely to vote by mail, support laws to make it easier

According to data from the NBC/Survey Monkey Weekly Tracking Poll, half of Democrats plan to vote by mail this election compared to only 18% of Republicans.

54% of Republicans plan to vote in person on election day, while only 21% plan to vote early.

This compares to only 22% of Democrats who plan to vote in person on election day.

86% of Democrats favor changing election laws to facilitate voting by mail while 77% of Republicans oppose the measures.

Confidence runs low among both Republicans and Democrats as to whether the election will be conducted in a fair and equal way.
