North Carolina Thwarts Trump Administration And Releases Hundreds Of Illegal Immigrants From Jail

by Paul Goldberg

A report was recently released that over the past 10 months almost 500 illegal immigrants were released by North Carolina Officials despite many of them having active detainers on them issued by ICE.

“This is a world turned upside-down. … Something screwy is going on in North Carolina,” Napolitano said on “Fox & Friends,” adding there is a “danger to public safety” when suspected violent criminals are released from custody.

Napolitano said bail is usually not set “low” when the case is an alleged “crime of violence.” He said when he was a judge in New Jersey it would have been “inconceivable” for him not to make sure a suspect freed on bail in his courtroom was turned over to a separate law enforcement agency on other suspected crimes.

“It would violate my oath to uphold the law.”

WBTV obtained a report that said 489 detainers were declined by law enforcement across the entire state of North Caroline. Fox News reports:

In one case in Mecklenburg County, an illegal immigrant was freed on bond in a child rape case. The suspect, Oscar Pacheco-Leonardo, was later apprehended by federal authorities, two months after McFadden ignored an ICE detainer order and released him from custody.”You may want to ask a judge the question … on why bonds are set so low, in order for someone to be easily released from the detention center,” McFadden said Monday.

ICE said it issued a detainer a day after the June arrest, but it wasn’t honored and the 33-year-old Honduran national was released on $100,000 bond by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office. The immigration enforcement agency said Pacheco-Leonardo reentered the U.S. illegally after being deported in 2006.

“This arrest is simply the latest in a continuing list of unlawfully present foreign nationals released from Mecklenburg County custody over the past nine months despite serious criminal charges that pose a clear threat to public safety,” ICE said in a statement about the case.

Judge Napolitano is right, the world is turned upside down. Why would you ever let some of these people go when you have them in custody and they have a detainer?

So much for following their sworn oaths and the rule of law. Bet North Carolina residents really feel safe when their police release criminals back into open society. Then again, North Carolina isn’t all that bright anyway. To think, they would rather turn criminals loose to destroy our nation and themselves all because they hate our president.

Dave…its not the people pf North Carolina, it is the DemonRAT Sheriff that was elected by the too many DemoRATS in Charlotte, NC. I was born here and used to be proud of the place, but no more. Im ashamed of the leadership of the city and county, and mostly the outrageous stupidity of the sheriff that controls the jail in the county. He is a hard core leftist that is all in support of illegals that are flooding NC and Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, and any other city run by Democrats. We are high on the list of “targets” the DemoRATS are focusing on to turn blue in the next election!

Not all the people of North Carolina but apparently enough since the people of NC elect their officials. If the majority of ‘the people’ did not want it that way it wouldn’t be that way. It’s like California and the problems they have similar to this. While there are some good Californians out there it’s the majority of Californians that apparently like it that way and they elect the officials that mess up California. Why? Because they hate Trump and are willing to destroy themselves because of that Hate, Just like they are doing in NC.
