Louisville Mayor addresses report the “NFAC” armed militia group is coming to Louisville

by Paul Goldberg

Democrat Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer addressed reports that the armed militia group known as the “NFAC” or “not f*cking around coalition” will be marching in his city today.

WDRB reports Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron was made aware of the possible march and said he and Louisville Metro Council President David James had a “productive” discussion over the phone with Grand Master Jay on Monday.

“Attorney General Cameron discussed his continued commitment to moving forward with our office’s independent and thorough investigation into the death of Ms. Taylor,” Elizabeth Goss Kuhn, spokesperson for the attorney general, said in a statement to WDRB News.

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer also knows about the possible march and said the city is prepared for it.

“So our police force will be in touch with the event organizers — in this case NFAC — to understand what their goals are coming into town,” he said. “So people have the First Amendment right to free speech, but we coordinate with those groups to make sure that everybody is safe. And then we also have the amount of resources that we need to make sure that the situation is managed properly.”

Per TCO, Friday Louisville Councilman Kevin Kramer, a Republican urged residents to stay clear from the city’s downtown area on Saturday while the militia’s march is underway.

“The potential for violence will be heightened as we will more than likely have a number of highly armed groups representing very different viewpoints as well as other groups all situated within a block of each other. While efforts are being made to ensure a safe environment to all persons present, I would caution you that the potential for violence will exist.”  Kramer said to WDRB

Kramer continued “I don’t have a lot of confidence that the police department is going to have the resources that they need should something go wrong.”

Videos from July 4th:

TCO reported earlier this month a video of Grand Master Jay, leader of a black militia group that describes themselves as the “NFAC” (Not F*cking around coalition) went viral on Twitter, and now has over 745k views.

In the clip, Grand Master Jay is asked about what he sees as a “solution” after he describes “a new black nation.”

Jay’s reply is “The solution is very simple. We follow the declaration of liberation, declaring every African American descendent of slavery a political prisoner here in the United States who were affected by the Portuguese slave trade and then after that the United States has a choice either carve us a piece of land out here, we will take Texas, and let us do our own thing or don’t stop us when we exit this body here and go somewhere where they will give us our own land to build our own nation.” Jay later adds “We don’t want to talk no more, we don’t want to negotiate. We don’t want to sing songs, we don’t bring signs to a gunfight. We’re an eye for an eye organization. So when they decide to act right, we’ll act right. And we do it all legally.”
