LA Times Ripped After Claiming “Trump uses Fourth of July celebration to stoke a culture war”

by Paul Goldberg

The Los Angeles Times sparked controversy with their portrayal of President Trump’s Mount Rushmore event.

The media outlet’s angle was “At Mt. Rushmore, Trump uses Fourth of July celebration to stoke a culture war.”

One Twitter user replied “Take a good look at that stage: looks a lot like something out of 1933 Germany. Same symbolism, same visual message.”

Another replied “Now do Antifa and BLM”

Matt Whitlock blasted back “Trump didn’t do this.”

Another Twitter user replied “”Stoke”? Trump didn’t start this. That’s like saying FDR’s “Day of Infamy” speech “stoked” war with Japan.”

“Such typical LA Times BS! It was a patriotic celebration of America’s great history. Period.”

“LA times continually uses headlines to stoke culture war.”

“This is why the media is hated so much, and rightfully so.”
