Saudi Arabia and Iran have been trading blows for weeks in the Middle East, and the United States is hoping to stay as uninvolved as possible.
Well, at least according to Donald Trump.
The embattled Commander in Chief has seemingly been at odds with some of his chief advisers on the subject of how best to approach the delicate situation. Trump has acquiesced to sending a small contingent of troops and resources to the waters off of the Persian nation, but has held back on any significant deployment.
Iran is now making that stance a bit more difficult to maintain, however, with a frightening new threat.

Iran can sink U.S. warships sent to the Gulf region using missiles and “secret weapons”, a senior Iranian military official was quoted as saying by the semi-official news agency Mizan on Saturday.
“America.. is sending two warships to the region. If they commit the slightest stupidity, we will send these ships to the bottom of the sea along with their crew and planes using two missiles or two new secret weapons,” General Morteza Qorbani, an adviser to Iran’s military command, told Mizan.
The claim by Iran may be terrifying, but it is also somewhat dubious.
Iran has long been under the watchful eye of international observers due to their poor behavior on the world’s stage, making it less likely that some sort of clandestine military development could occur without garnering the attention of the United States’ advanced surveillance techniques.
