Hey Fauci! NEWSFLASH Americans Care More About The Weather Than COVID-19

by Paul Goldberg

Dr. Fauci has continually warned Americans that the coronavirus is getting out of control. The mainstream media has gone wall to wall trying to create panic and weaponize the virus to use against President Trump. Below are some examples…

During his appearance on CNN Fauci continued to say trouble is ahead…

All this media wall to wall pandemic panic coverage made me wonder, outside of my sphere what do Americans think?

I decided to check out Google Trends, it’s a tool set up by Google to study the trends in Google searches in American and around the world. They just so happens to have a coronavirus dashboard as well and thought it would be interesting to checkout.

According to the data as of the writing of this post, Americans are more concerned about the weather than they are the coronavirus. As you’ll see in the graph below the coronavirus (red), is being searched less than people who are looking up the weather (blue). The coronavirus is being searched about as much as the news is inside the US. You’ll notice the steep drop from earlier in the year.

When I checked trending insights these were the top trending topics related to the coronavirus. Keep in mind these are updated daily by Google, below is as of the writing of this post.

You’ll notice Americans were more concerned about the sales at JcPenny, Lord and Taylor, and Men’s Wharehouse than they were concerned about the virus itself. Only one of the top five topics were related to health and the virus.

For fun, I decided to check later in the day and these were the top trending topics about the coronavirus worldwide:

Americans are over the virus, they are just trying to survive in the world the coronavirus and stubborn Democrat Governors have created.

I found the data interesting and I’m sure you have your ideas about it. These were just some of my thoughts when I saw the data and would love to hear what you think.

If you wish to keep up and track the trends you can click here, they change day to day and it’s interesting to watch.
