Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just turned the tables on Dr. Fauci after the infectious disease doctor said vaccinated people still need to wear masks and follow restrictions.
Over the weekend, MSNBC’s Chuck Todd asked Fauci, “Why does a vaccinated person have to wear a mask?”
“You dramatically diminish possible Covid infection with a vaccine, but vaccinated people could still carry infection,” Fauci replied.

During an appearance Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is taking a different approach…
“I also think it’s a problem that people, where, you’re telling people to get a vaccine and yet people who have been vaccinated for months are wearing two masks,” DeSantis said during a news conference in Lakeland.
“If the vaccine is effective, why would you be wearing two masks? Like some of these folks are doing. It doesn’t make sense,” the governor said.
GOV. DESANTIS: “If you get a vaccine… you’re immune and so act immune. If you tell people the opposite… that it’s not going to change anything, then what’s the point of going through it?”

Science actually agrees with DeSantis, like in Israel where cases have plummeted and deaths have dropped 98%.
Experts believe the country is almost at herd immunity because 5.3 million residents have been vaccinated and 830,000 have tested positive for the virus which is about 68% of their population.
From the BBC:
Prof Eyal Leshem, a director at Israel’s largest hospital, the Sheba Medical Center, said herd immunity was the “only explanation” for the fact that cases continued to fall even as more restrictions were lifted.
“There is a continuous decline despite returning to near normalcy,” he said.
“This tells us that even if a person is infected, most people they meet walking around won’t be infected by them.”
And cases are falling in all age groups including children, even though under-16s are not generally being vaccinated.
The science isn’t adding up with what Fauci claims for example take a look at the State of Mississippi.

Fauci saying that vaccinated people can pass covid asymptomatically, and that they must therefore mask, is idiocy. It’s contradicted by the CDC itself, which says that if you are vaccinated and EXPOSED TO COVID, you don’t have to quarantine unless you are symptomatic. pic.twitter.com/njYS0O2aWA
