FAKE NEWS: Media pushes phony 'racist' outrage over black actress playing 'The Little Mermaid'

by J.C McCallum

Last week, Disney announced that Halle Bailey, a black actress, was chosen to play Ariel the mermaid in their live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid.”

The announcement was followed by a BET article titled, “Racists Are Big Mad That A Black Girl Is Playing Ariel In ‘The Little Mermaid’” that backed up the outrage-claim with a whopping six tweets — most of which turned out to be from phony accounts.

Despite it’s lack of authenticity, the BET article prompted a flurry of follow-up reports on an alleged “racistbacklash.

“Liberal rags want you to think that there is a giant wave of racist backlash against a black ‘Little Mermaid’ in Disney’s upcoming reboot. It’s fake!” said Jon Miller on Thursday’s White House Brief. “Same goes with the misogynists supposedly upset over the female leads in the new ‘Terminator’ movie. It’s all just an advertising gimmick churned out by Hollywood that puts ticket sales over the well-being of the country.”

I’m Outraged that they didn’t get an Autistic, Hijab Wearing Arab whose a Genitally Mutilated Transgender to Play the part & have the Entire movie Spoken in Esperanto with Sign Language Interpreters & Gay Dolphins & Cocktopussies. Shame on Disney for Not Fagging it Up More!
