California’s population declines for first time in state history with drop of over 182k


California’s population lost 182k in 2020, the first year over year decline in the history of the state.

The dip represents a .46% dip as the State’s total population is just under 39.5 million.

California also lost a congressional seat after the U.S. Census Bureau results.
