Moments ago, Chelsea Clinton called on social media giant Facebook to ban popular Fox News host Tucker Carlson from its platform.
Clinton tweeted “[email protected] consistently spews racist, bigoted, anti-Semitic hate and misinformation across his platforms. He doesn’t deserve a microphone.”
“Also, @Facebook needs to live up to its own commitment. It’s not just one user or one false #covid19 post, it’s the mess of misinformation unchecked everyday. The most popular story on the J&J vaccine is a post from a known conspiracy theorist. Come on!” she added.
Chelsea tweeted Wednesday “In December, @facebook banned claims about #covid19 vaccines ‘that have been debunked by public health experts.’”
“And yet ⬇️.” Chelsea continued, pointing to reporting on a Tucker Carlson segment.
“Especially troubling given Republican men are currently most likely to say they’re not interested in being vaccinated,” she added.
