Biden Doesn’t Know What Hit Him After Battle With Bezos Turns Into A War

You know things are bad when Washington Post and Amazon owner Jeff Bezos is ripping President Joe Biden. Make no mistake the White House is shocked they have no idea how to handle this.

It all started on May 13, 2022, after Biden’s Twitter account wrote, “You want to bring down inflation? Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.”

Bezos mocked the quote and Biden’s new “ministry of truth.”

“The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non-Sequitur Board instead,” he wrote.

“Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection,” he added, torching Biden’s claims.

About a day later, Bezos commented on a post claiming that Biden was lying about the deficit and inflation.

He was referring to a post made by Biden’s account stating that Trump was responsible for the country’s current deficit and that he was on track “to cut the deficit by $1.5 trillion – the biggest one-year decline ever. It matters to families, because reducing the deficit is one of the main ways we can ease inflationary pressures.”

Bezos added to a post stating that Biden’s claims were “silly” because most of the deficit spending attributed to Trump took place during the pandemic. The billionaire added that Biden had intended on adding to the deficit but Manchin killed his BBB bill because he was worried about inflation. Bezos dug at the President as well stating “misdirection doesn’t help the country.”

The White House responded to Bezos two day lashing claiming that his attacks are only because the White House supports Amazon unionizing.

That was war and Bezos hit back stating that unions are not responsible for inflation and “neither are wealthy people.” He also issued a friendly reminder that Biden tried, “their best to add another $3.5 TRILLION to federal spending. They failed, but if they had succeeded, inflation would be even higher than it is today, and inflation today is at a 40 year high.”
