Yesterday, former Vice President Biden made a controversial statement about the U.S. relations with notorious dictator Adolph Hitler.

After Trump said “Having a good relationship with leaders of other countries is a good thing.”

Biden retorted “We had a good relationship with Hitler before he invaded the rest of Europe.”

Mark Levin fired back “Did Joe Biden just say we have a good relationship with Hitler at one point?  No we did not, Joe.”

Joel Pollack called the claim “mostly false.”

According to Business Insider “The US was neutral for the first two years of World War 2 until siding with Britain, France, and other European democracies that were fighting Nazi Germany in December 1941.

However, the US relationship with Germany had cooled in the years leading up to Hitler’s invasion of Poland in 1939. “
