The so-called “mainstream” media have been nothing but vicious toward Donald Trump.
The harpies at The View are no exception.
But a co-host of The View begrudgingly agreed with Trump after one General’s traitorous act.
In Bob Woodward’s latest book Peril, which was co-written with Robert Costa, he makes the claim that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley admitted to promising the Chinese government that he would alert them if Donald Trump ordered a nuclear strike.
Milley also allegedly went to top military brass and urged them to give him an “oath” that they would circumvent any “illegal” orders from Trump.
Many partisan Democrats cheered Milley’s treasonous acts, but surprisingly some did not.
One of the Democrats who broke ranks was Sunny Hostin, co-host of The View.
The show, and Hostin in particular, have been venomous toward Trump and Republicans more broadly.
But Hostin could not brook Milley’s traitorous behavior.
“I think that you break command in that way, you are committing treason. You’re going outside of the chain of command . . . I mean, I worked for the government for many years. It is sacrosanct to go within the chain of command.”
Hostin’s analysis is obvious to anyone who doesn’t have Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Milley’s actions, if true, were despicable.
Hostin worked in a few jabs at Trump, but elaborated on her point about Milley:
“I think the former twice disgraced – twice-impeached, former disgraced President was perfectly capable of starting a nuclear war after his loss, but I think there’s just no excuse for a silent coup which I think that’s what that is.”
Hostin is obviously wrong about Trump starting a nuclear war – he was excoriated by the corporate-controlled press for attempting to end wars.
CNN’s Samantha Vinograd even called Trump a “coward” for not ordering a deadly strike against Iran that would’ve killed dozens after Iran allegedly shot down an unmanned U.S. drone.
Even Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, the man that spurred the Ukrainegate hoax, said Milley should resign immediately.
If this is true GEN Milley must resign. He usurped civilian authority, broke Chain of Command, and violated the sacrosanct principle of civilian control over the military. It’s an extremely dangerous precedent. You can’t simply walk away from that. #dotherightthingintherightway https://t.co/izsMMCFPrz

When Trump’s most hostile detractors are taking his side, it’s clear that Milley crossed the line.
